Pijama was born in 2006 from an idea by Monica Battistella, fashion designer, and Sergio Gobbi, architect. They realized that abandoned stocks of fabrics in the heart of Milano's former fashion district could be brought to a new life, creating scratchproof soft cases for computers and ipods, and later for ipads and iphones. Every Pijama soft case is composed of three layers of different materials: nylon, neoprene and the external fabric that gives the final look. Pijama is designed in a small studio in Milan, manufactured in a small laboratory in its surroundings and the majority of its fabric suppliers are located in Northern Italy.
